Merry Christmas ! --- Sunday, 23 December 2018

I have been thinking a lot about many different things this past week... searching for GOD's directions and provisions... wondering how to conquer my goals for 2019.

It has been quite awhile since I last posted.

I went shopping on Wednesday.  Still have more to do.

Had my eyeglass appointment.  Now I am waiting for my glasses to be done so I can pick them up and see how the go... it has been a very long time since I had new glasses... too long.

I work a lot on my budget.  I have to finish my Christmas gifting (tomorrow!)  --  this is my latest year yet.  Just haven't been able to get out shopping like I normally can.  One of my "goals" for 2019 is to find a solution for that.

Mailed all my cards and gifts last Wednesday...  sent my first letter to a faith prisoner in PAKISTAN.  I hope my letter gets to him, and that he can read English.  I included an SASE to see if it helps.

I watched some Christmas programs online... via email links.

TBN has a special with Andrea Bocelli (hope I spelled that right)… and his family... and others.  You can watch it online.

I watched a Christmas service at Alistair Begg's church via an email to online link.  I hope to see their Christmas Eve service, too.

Not sure what else I will see that is Christmas-y.  :-)

Mostly I am thinking about the problems in the world, the changes we are not prepared for, dying, the lost, life here and elsewhere, the government, and the futility of my dreams at this point.  BUT, I will continue to the best of my ability, whatever Satan seems to throw into my path.  It is all there is left to do.

I created some "bookmarks" for an inmate Christmas letter... One has captured my attention more than the others.  It says ::

TODAY is what I have.
TODAY is a clean slate.
TODAY I can change my life.

I think I will make it into something to sell, something to offer free, something...  a postcard would be nice...  I am trying to think of something that can continue to inspire, not just a one-time read.  I want to remind myself of these things, too.

Printful would be nice... a cup design, maybe.

I am working on the design options... which software to get and use that creates designs for more than one website.  It is quite a challenge, especially if you don't want to use the "Cloud" for everything!

I learned that Twitter has a file of free GIF's today... so I posted two...  :-)  fun!  I have been waiting to figure out how to make them.  :-)  I want to do photos that show up on Twitter feed, too.  AND videos!  Not sure how or when, but 2019 is going to be a good year, if I can get these things done.

I have lots to read now... on Cash Flow, Patreon, homelessness and solutions, GOD, goals, Etsy, selling, and more.  Some days it is hard just to get the dishes done, but I am hoping to find help soon.
Well, I hope your holiday is filled with love and presents that you like!  :-)

Until next time,
In Christ,

Tuesday, 18 December 2018

I'm not going to last much longer today... I better get this done!  :-)

Been listening to CHRISTMAS on YouTube the past several hours... starting with the Alistair Begg Christmas Concert for 2018... to a 2017 Carolers Concert by Hillsong… to Nat King Cole Christmas albumn (now).  Sure love his voice...

Been sorting more piles today, after a mountain of dishes washed and kitchen cleaned up.  Made salsa, sweet potato fries, and tried to recover some leftovers.  As I wrote in one of my letters today, I need a BIG compost pile and to make smaller portions.  Leftovers are just not that great.

Most of my Christmas is done, except the main package to send and the main gift for at home.  This is the way life goes... what to give?????????????????????????????   I don't know...yet.

I hope I survive tomorrow.  Lots to do.  It will probably take me until Christmas to recover.  Oh, well... that's what Christmas is about.  Right?   haha

Well... I better go get my Christmas done.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Deborah Martin

May GOD help all His people to keep their Christmas Spirit, and remember what matters.
May we all enjoy the end of this year, and make a plan for next year.
May our hearts find their joy in salvation, in love, and in their place within the Kingdom of GOD.
Amen.

Monday, 17 December 2018

I realized today that Christmas is nearer than I thought... only a WEEK away!  I'm just trying to get my cards and packages into the mail before the USPS deadline!  What else is there to think about!!  haha

One more package to make ready, and no idea what it will finally hold.  Fun.  Not a well-planned year.  We will try to do better next year.

Life happens in years these days.  This year I did this, next year I will try to get this done.  Like my summer projects.  :-)

So... I am working on my goals for next year.  Trying to make a list I can check off.  Hoping to get it all organized into some kind of "project management" style.  Is this a good goal?  I hope so.  I'm still trying to figure out how to break my BIG goals into small achievable parts.

I better go... lots to do for my last package to mail.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Finally feeling better! - Thursday, 13 DEC 2018

This has been a long week.  I am sure everyone missed all my great posting!  :-)

This morning is my first time back on the internet I think... time is such a blur... I felt terrible Monday and Tuesday, then Wednesday the internet didn't work.  That is how life goes sometimes.

I was checking my emails today and linked to some Patreon articles that I need to read.  At this point I am not sure there are enough people in the world to support my creative goals, but I am willing to learn how to do it and give it a try.  There are success stories at every site... who's going to tell you about all the failures, right!?  :-)  Lots of money to get connected for time-saving options, but those can become future goals.   I am trying to decide what benefits to offer and at what price levels.

No eyeglasses yet.  Had to reschedule my appointment.

I am just beginning to catch up with everything.

This morning I tried my first bird food project.  It will need some testing and refinement before I try to sell it.  :-)  Winter is a great time for that.  I may try to make something the squirrels will love, too.

I have my Christmas mailings to finish.  Only two this year.  Will send off the last of my Christmas cards at the same time.  I have my recipes to try, and my supplies for my crafting projects.  We are almost done with this year's gifting/

Once I feel better things will seem better, too.

I have to say, one of my emails was from CUFI, the Israel group started by the Hagee Ministries... and it seems they have amasses 5 MILLION members for that group!!  I was shocked!  I sent them a reply email to say how impressed I was... and that I didn't think that many Christians could gather for anything!  I have hope for Working Together now.   :-)

Maybe... someday... and maybe even more.  I hope we are able to keep the Christian populations high until the Antichrist gets here.  It's really a big debate issue.

I guess that's all there is for now.  I may blog over the weekend since the week was so bad.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Thursday, 6 December 2018

Christmas!  My small part in the Christmas process is getting done.  :-)  Most of my Christmas cards are done, the last few are nearly ready to mail.

I have to get to the post office again (I went yesterday not knowing it was closed for the funeral of the elder Bush)… but that is fine.  I am getting at least one of my packages to mail ready.  I suppose I could wait until next week... I might.  I'm not sure.

This would not be a topic to share if it was easy to get to the Post Office.  Shipping is one of the problems I have living here... so I am still working on a solution I can do.  You can't sell physical products if you can't ship them.  :-(

My eyeglasses will have to wait a bit longer.  I was told by my son that I could walk into the business and be helped, so I tried that.  It didn't work.  Wednesday is my shopping day of choice because of the Salvation Army Sale Day at their thrift shop, so I made an appointment for next Wednesday.  That will give me more time to see if I have any kind of coverage for my eyes... and where.

I finally made it to the Dollar Tree and picked up a bunch of stuff on my lists.  2019 has a planning calendar now.  I have a new address book.  I remembered to get some light bulbs when I saw them in the aisles.  I found a new little screwdriver set and put up my tiny lights that are battery powered, found there previously.  (They are so great!  I will get more!! eventually)  And some household things I needed to get.  It really is great to shop there... I love it.

Then I made it to the thrift store... and found some very wonderful things for me, the house, crafting, and whatever.  The main thing some of you might like to hear about is the 1975 ORTHO book on pickling foods.  It is so great!  Things I never knew people pickled... recipes... lots of photos...  I have found Ortho books before, they are great.

I bought one pair of jeans... but will try for more another time.  I am between and 18 and 16 I think.  I bought a    s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y    size 16 yesterday, washed it today, and will try it on again soon.  I hope it fits OK.  I tend to make fast decisions because I get tired of the process of trying clothes on.  Plus, I kept my thermals on when I tried them out at the store.   :-)  In time I hope to be buying at least size 12...  that would be so nice.

I didn't find any of the tortilla presses I saw one time... sad... but I spent more than I planned anyway. Jeans are expensive there, even at half price.  I bought a DVD because I thought it was a lower price, but it wasn't.  And other things.  But, I got some really great items and I love it... it's just fun to look through all the different items.

I was too wiped out to blog last night.  I decided to let it go.  It is such a challenge to do days like yesterday.  Maybe once a week would be a good try... but that might be too much for me, too.  I'll get this figured out somehow.

Tomorrow is the last dry day before rain comes back.  It is so cold, but always better without the wet... especially in wind.  I have to get all my crafted gifts done by next week... and mailed.

That's my life today.  How is yours going?

I hope well.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Deborah Martin

04 December, 2018

Tuesday, 4 December 2018

I got distracted by hilarious posts on Facebook tonight...  maybe this one will work.  :-)

Today was a  S-L-O-W day, cold day, sleepy day... not much to say.

I am hoping to find some more clothes tomorrow... and see about getting new glasses... and buy some supplies... and do errands... and...     I may not have that much energy.  I will have to "prioritize!"

I find I need GIANT PRINT more and more... I was so upset when I discovered the zoom feature doesn't exist at Facebook...   This is a problem!   :-)

I watched a Christy Wright video yesterday (I think)… one from a link and another from a glitch at YouTube... so, I guess I watched two.  One was on social media and listed a freebie with the names of apps to get to help you.   Another was on finding ONE key characteristics for your business to promote it.  I have been thinking about WT and what would be the best ONE feature to focus on.  I will try to promote the DECEMBER Membership Drive with some of the paid ads I see promoted to me everywhere.  I want to make a really great post to promote... so I am trying to decide how to focus my energies... and money.

I am always thinking about GOD and how technology is going to affect our lives.  It's the only way the Antichrist can eventually control everything (all buying and selling)… but it is still too early for that.  We are not all connected and dependent yet.  It isn't too far away though.

I see the paths ahead by what exists today.

There is always lots to think about, and these thoughts always have to include the big ongoing battles of good and evil, of people and power, of time and energy and money...  lots to think about and pray about and wonder about.

This is the season of need.  I wonder how WT will ever survive this financial challenge.  Once it is established, it will keep itself.  It will be the only option, the best option, the hope of Christians until the Antichrist gets here.   BUT... why hasn't GOD provided already... what dastardly evil force has violated this need for Christians...  this is also something I think about.  WT should have grown by now.

So... I keep trying to find a new option.  Today, I am trying to decide what the most important part of WT is so I can share that on social media and find the members it needs to grow.

I will try to share that with you when I figure it out.

We only have one month... DECEMBER... only.

I can only handle so much, so 1000 memberships is enough for 2019.  Who will those founding members be?  I wonder.   :-)   After me.

I guess I will go for now.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Deborah Martin

Monday, 3 December 2018

I forgot it is Monday!

Today has been the start of Christmas buying and sending (online), and Christmas cards to announce those gifts.  It's beginning to feel like Christmas!  :-)

I hope to get more cards in tomorrows mail, and find out about the last of my online purchase needs.

After my spending spree I had to figure out if I had any money left!  haha  Well, how much I had left.  Not much.  But that is my continual status.  I will squeeze out what I can.  Homemade gifts are rising to the top of the option list!

That's about the bulk of my news for today... I don't want to go into too much detail... this is the season of secrets, you know!!  :-)

Enjoy your holiday prep... it makes the whole month fun.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Pray for blessings... there is so much need in our world, so much pain, so much evil, and so many who want to live peaceably but can't.  Pray for change.  Pray for GOD to have mercy on us.  Amen.
