FAITH :: CHANGES !!! Starting to think of 2021...

Sorry to be late again... Who can remember what was happening that made me forget to post here...  I remembered on Thursday, the old regular day.  Maybe I need to work on a new plan.  :-)

I have been thinking about 2021 goals and decided to change my PATREON page around.  I worked on that in the night hours from Saturday to Sunday... Make sure you check it out.

https://patreon.com/DebsRetirementPlan

I am down to FOUR tiers...

  • For Everyone
  • New Projects
  • Art Prints
  • Jewelry Design

I decided to eliminate CHRISTMAS from my Patreon projects, and then decided to make RECYCLING dormant for awhile... It takes a LOT of money and space to do Recycling projects... I will wait and see what happens.

I changed my Patreon page right away because I didn't want to risk anyone signing up for a tier that would be changed.

I am still praying for responses to my ONE MILLION supporters effort for this whole year.  So far, NONE.  ZERO.  NADA.  ZIP.  -- very discouraging.  That was my "start-up" money goal.

Finding workspace has been an ongoing issue for me.  I bought some things this weekend to help me, and spent today moving stuff around to see if it would help.  I am seeing a LITTLE bit of empty but not enough.  There's still more to do, so it might work out.  I moved my crafting supplies to my desk space for easier access and a reminder for my brain.

"Out of sight, out of mind" isn't a made up saying... it is truth we have to deal with!

In my sorting activities I found a bunch of paperwork that applies to Working Together... history... memories.  I have it all separated and need to go through it this week.  The DECEMBER Membership Drive deadline is looming !!!  I have a lot to get done still.  PRAY for me.  Ask GOD to help me with the issues I face, and to provide what I have needed and prayed for all these many years.  Thanks.

This logo, mission statement, vision for the future of all Christians, has all the main themes and contact point for Working Together.

I created a visor with the web address on it.  I should have the only one... I can't decide if that is something to sell or not.  I am thinking more about stickers.  I love them, put them on my letters, and think they spread the word in places we can never reach.

With everything online these days, I am not sure what the best sharing method would be.  I suppose social media... but my accounts don't see to reach too far.

And there are other problems I don't have the ability to deal with right now.

These all bring up questions about GOD, about Faith, about our place in the Kingdom Plan, and who has more power - GOD or the Evil One.  Every day brings this battle.

9/11 was a turning point for America in my view, this election is also a huge event in our national path.  Even if TRUMP wins, it just kicks the can down to the next election... the morality of our nation is dying, and that is fulfilling Prophecy.  We need to decide what the best future is for ourselves as Christians, so we can protect it the best we can.

For the December Membership Drive I am trying to write a PDF that will explain my reasons for starting WT and why I think it matters.  I'm not sure how detailed I will be, because it really needs a whole book with chapters on each part of the whole vision, but I will do my best.  I have gone through many years of seeking GOD for the details, and struggled with so many obstacles.  I will try to share my view for now, in our time, because things have changed a lot since I first wrote my What If There Is NO Rapture piece.

I guess that is enough for tonight.

I will try to do better this week and get my post done... maybe early... maybe on THURSDAY, or maybe on another day.  :-)

In Christ,

I like to post this last as a PS reminder that we cannot be strong unless we gather and become ONE BODY in Christ.

Update :: Continuing the quests... WT, Patreon, and CHRISTMAS !! :-)

I was busy with my emails again... and the links that lead to social media... and then social media... and then, suddenly, I remembered it was THURSDAY !!     :-)

One of my sons became my first Patreon supporter the other day.  On my end, it is a way to see how the Patreon system works with real people...  there is so much to learn about all the online connections and how to reach your goals with them.

In questions of Faith, and how GOD works in the middle of all our problems and desires, it is still a one day at a time plan, the only reality we can do.

I didn't get to my prayer journals today... I don't think.  Sometimes that happens... I get to them as soon as I can.  Prayers are not always an immediate topic.  I try to make a note of the time and date when I enter a late prayer, so I know it was a long day and busy.

I just shared (today) on Toby Mac's regular weekly Facebook post for audience prayer needs about how my journals have changed my life, and what they can mean to other Christians.  I hope others will try it.  I added my prayer needs at the bottom.

Prayer has always been a hard topic to deal with.  There are a lot of different view on it... and we all want GOD to give us what we pray for.  When He doesn't... it creates a theology problem.

I was busy with food today... I got to go to the grocery store, then had to decide what to do with what I bought.  I started keeping track of how many times I go to the store for food.  I want to go weekly, to certain stores throughout the month.  My food budget is government food benefits.  I have been trying to decide the best way to shop, store, and eat food within this very tight budget.

Time just gets away from us.

I have problems I am working to overcome.

The battle between what I WANT to do and what I actually get done seems like a constant war.  Progress gets made, but in very tiny steps.

Working on CHRISTMAS is taking over my days, sometimes my nights.  I have been working on how to keep track of what I do, and deadlines for things.  I can only do my part.  GOD has to do His part.  What the results are reflect His Plan and Purpose for this time and place.

We all create the future... our choices, our actions, our opposition, our problems, our supporters, our goals, our failures, our faith....  it all leads to the bigger future.

I think my efforts to make paper mache items will be worth the effort. I am making them thick, and looking for my sanding paper supplies.  Once they are smooth, I will head into a primer layer then figure out some kind of design.  I am trying a "vase" and a bowl shape... plus some bracelet options.  I think smooth will be the critical issue with bracelets.  Then design.

My son has been sending me photos in emails.  Today they were like a blog on how to refurbish a wheelbarrow.  Inspired me to get better at my blogging.

So, for today, that is about it.
Sign up with my Patreon page, if you can.  Only $5.  That is the goal.
You can do more if you want to, but the goal for 2020 is ONE MILLION supporters at the $5 level.  Think about it.  Thanks.

In Christ,
Deborah Martin

What a day...

I wrote four letters before the mailperson came to get them. Later I added another one for tomorrow's mail.  Now I have three more left just to finish August's list.  :-)  I don't get many responses, so it doesn't seem very urgent to get them out in a serious deadline way.  I call it a flexible schedule.  :-)  And I need to find an "insert" for my September bunch of letters.

I turned on my phone ringer (finally got it to actually work when I tried to turn on the ringer!) and now I get calls that hang up in three rings.  Previously, calls would magically appear on my phone.  I don't answer too many as they never leave a voicemail, so I assume they are robocalls.  It has occurred to me how fake call records can be created and used in court through some of these issues.  We are in such a legal bog with technology.

I think I want a landline again.

I am actually trying to budget in a senior phone with one of those emergency buttons.  One of these days....

I made it out to the ivy patch around noon, after I didn't have the right tool for my curb cleaning plan... cut out vines for an hour!  What a mess!  More to do tomorrow, but I am MOTIVATED now.  :-)  --  I did go back later to check on (rake up) the debris...

In some places of the "seasonal creek" the leaves are so deep it's scary.  I am trying to figure out a good way to make it safer.  There is a dangerous metal spike that is failing to hold up the huge timber wall it was first place for, and it is just waiting for someone to fall and die on it.  I think I will bend it into the timber just to be safe.

I am not sure about the "creek" wall part of the ivy patch... It's hard to see how much is solid rocks and how much is dirt ready to fall down.  There are gaping holes in the dirt, but different pipe sections, and I am wondering about wild animals that could live in them, or be in danger by them.

Roots, some over an inch thick, are going in all kinds of directions... BIG ivy roots, I think... but not sure yet.  I am just cutting off everything that is in the spaces I don't want ivy to be.  I haven't even started on the street side of the patch.  (so much fun..... I can hardly wait!)  haha

I decided not to enter a post yesterday... things were happening and it would not have been a good one.  I did work on my budget... my revisions, my payments, my plans for the month.  It is always depressing.

I watched some news earlier and one of the tidbits about Brazil, in conjunction with the fire loss of their country's national museum (which would be like our Smithsonian burning down into nothing), and the average worker in Brazil only makes about 180 US dollars a month...   no mention of the effects of inflation on their dollars, or any other details about their economy, was made.  Recently I caught the news about (Argentina?) having such high inflation that the government decided to correct the problem itself with it's own "eraser" - going into a version of bitcoin, I think.  All I really heard was the graphics about how many of their dollars it takes to buy some food... one item of food.

I guess the Democrats have come out with media bites to take the media stage with the Kavanaugh hearings... we have become a world that only cares about media bites, not the survival of our world....  It will all come back to "bite" us in time... much worse that it already is.

In a Democratic media world, finding the Truth is hard.  Democratic TV news use Democratic newspaper sources as their guest authorities, as well as any other interview subjects.  If they aren't totally committed to the Democratic agenda, they are very near to it.  And this is presented as "unbiased" reporting.

We rely on information that only represents one view... degrades any other views, reports only bad opinions of their enemies, and controls the way we see the world.  You have to have your own foundation for information, or work extremely hard to find a whole range of reporters to hear, if you even want to think about knowing the details of any ONE issue, for that day.

This is the world we live in.
We are suffering for it.

I have heard some people read multiple newspapers every day to find out what is happening in the world... I don't have time for that... or the money.

Well, that's it for today... I am still working on a plan for the topics of my blogs... this one is journal blog... my WT blogs need some content, so I am looking at how to get some good blogs posted, at least once a week.  My reorganized room may help me to get closer to that.  Thinking of things to write is easy, actually getting all the details for a "real" blog post is hard... and time consuming... and I need some way to keep a record of sources.  I am working on those details, in the midst of all my other efforts....

I wonder if I will ever reach the point where I can hire the help I need...

I wonder.

Until next time,
In Christ,

Deborah Martin

May the world suddenly become good again... hmmm... how would that be possible... so, in that view, may GOD help all the good people to prosper and make wise decisions and help other good people and make sure evil forces do not get their resources.  Amen.

And may we all be deserving of the title "good" and maybe "godly" and always "kind, compassionate, merciful, giving, loving, worthy," and everything the Bible tells us is righteous.

I hope GOD finds a way to help us.
We are so divided, so separated, so overpowered by the strength of evil.
I know we are heading toward death by the Antichrist,
but I don't want to let him win without a fight.

Maybe you can help me by joining WT and begin the process of building the things we need to survive as the times grow worse.  It is the only way I can see us becoming ONE Body in Christ.

I hope you will think about it and decide that $10 is not to much to spend to begin the process of changing our world... hopefully, I will actually get the funds and be able to do what I have been planning and working toward since before WT was even created.

Thanks.

May GOD be glorified and protect us from the evil that surrounds us.  Amen.

29 November, 2017

Wednesday, 29 November 2017

Finally, I get to sit down... well, I did watch part of a movie earlier... after some news.  I have been changing things around my room again... did four loads of laundry, including bedding and towels... let's see, what else... mostly just moving a lot of things around to have better access to my supplies and get everything into the best place.

In the process of moving things today, I decided I am going to try to choose the most important stuff I have and then downsize my possessions to fit better in this small space.  When I shop at the thrift stores, I grab things I like, and then get too much.  I have to separate the kitchen stuff from the crafting supplies.  Somehow, I have to mark the crafting supplies to make sure I don't use them for food again.  I will be using stuff that is not good for eating... plaster, glues, etc.  I have an engraver, that might help.  I use a hole punch for my silicone molds that are for crafts only.

I have also been thinking about going through my food supplies at the end of every year to donate the stuff that is closest to expiring to the missions, then I can replace it for the next year's supplies.  I think that will help me deal with the stuff I want on hand and don't always use up fast enough... and, it will help with the FIFO (first in first out) problems I always have because I don't watch the labels.  Sound like a good idea?  I think so... at least, for me.

If you follow my Facebook page, you will know I changed my little Christmas tree decoration.  I put some Christmas wrapping paper as a background, more festive, because I changed the garland.  I wound up cutting my garland into three sections... one for the tree, one for the background, and one to hang by the neighboring window and make it more garland in that spot.

*
I really like my 6-cube shelf.  It is becoming a great organizing space.

*
Once I get through all my boxes of paperwork/records, there will be more space in my room.  It is a S.L.O.W process, and I wish I had more options, but this is where I am and this is what I have to deal with.

*
My thoughts are about Christmas presents...and about how GOD is working in the world.  What is there I can do within my small abilities... why doesn't GOD provide for the tasks He has put in my heart to do... how will I be able to accomplish anything in my current situation... it's a constant thought.  I wish I understood more about the path GOD has me on, past/present/future.

I am trying to figure out how to update webpage for my December Membership Drive.  I have to get that done tomorrow or the next day.  I am here in Portland, but my business address and plans are in Eugene.  It has been such a huge problem these years since I moved here.  I know GOD always has a purpose for things, but it has been hard for me to understand what that could be.

I hope to finally build a member base to start building all the resources in my plans for Working Together.  Poverty is a real challenge... it doesn't allow any kind of stretching into financial issues.

I always think it was the lack of start-up funding, and the inability to build a start-up financial base through sales.  These are the points where I wonder why GOD didn't provide.  Even the thought of crowd-funding was impossible as I would become homeless with every failed effort.

These must be thoughts of concern... thinking of my past efforts, the issues that have been part of my life, and the lack of visible help from GOD... the church... and others.  I guess my main focus has been to try, do the best I could, and leave the rest to GOD.  I end up saying that I will find out in heaven what my efforts created.  These are the time I cling to all the stories about people who died not seeing the promises of GOD... like Abraham... maybe others... I can't think of them right now.

I wish I had more faith... I only know how to deal with what I have today.  I guess I have always been a budgeting person... fighting to make it all fit into the budget... trying to cover the needs.  I figure there will be a lot of these things as the end gets nearer.

It has always been one of my goals to keep depending on GOD each year for the provisions we would need... but I wasn't sure how to structure that.  I have tentative plans, and will keep looking for better options.  Membership is the main criteria...and CORD.  These will limit our financial actions.  Members will pay the yearly fee, and we will use that to build resources.  Each year's members will be the ones who can access our efforts, our services, our benefits, our resources, at different levels.

The public will have access to different benefits/products.

I have it all planned... pretty much.  I just need to get it started...  :-)   I think it will grow into whatever GOD has planned.  When the time comes for the Antichrist to kill us, we will be with each other and be able to face it together.

GOD willing, I will live long enough to get it going.

Time to go.
I hope you will become one of our members... especially if you are a Christian.

In Christ,
Deborah Martin

May GOD bless this new effort to build Working Together.
May I have the provisions I need, at a personal and work level, to do the tasks I need to do.
May there be a way to reach the place/s I need to be.
May we find enough members this December to start all the programs that are planned, and then create more in every region.
May Working Together be blessed in the world, reach Christians, bring us together, help us to grow into ONE BODY, and become the resource we all need as time passes.
May our enemies be thwarted.
May our goals be reached.
May our world become better because of us.
May time be our friend.
May life be protected, and disagreements be talked out, and differences be respected.
May GOD help me soon, now, this year, and always.
May I always be able to separate my life from the life of Working Together.
Amen.

Wednesday, 22 November 2017

I guess shopping and Christmas and sleep/rest took precedence over my blog... I totally forgot to get it done before I collapsed into bed, putting it off until later... and later turned into tomorrow.  I hope it didn't matter to anyone.  This is still a work-in-progress, so these things happen.

*
This morning I found a goal planner from the C12 Group, a Christian business support group.  It was a 28-page download and I actually PRINTED it off... using a lot of precious ink for the machine I use and supply... but I hope it will be worth it.

*
I woke in the early (wee hours) of today and decided to work on my Christmas gifts, packaging, cards, and planning.  I am also working on some packaging ideas for future products.  It is getting interesting.  I will try to post at least one of the photos I have been taking, but I have to do that after I publish this post.  Such a pain...

*
When the holidays get here, I begin to think about my life again...  how I got to now, where I wish I would have been, and where I want to go in the future.  I think the end of each year is a mixed blessing -- mostly because it is filled with lots of memories that are not always good.  They have their use in how we go forward, but they still have lots of emotions attached to them.  I call it my end-of-the-year review.  It goes along with goal planning for the next year.

*
I get reminders on Facebook about my plans for a December Membership Drive for Working Together.  The need to update those webpages and insert the payment links still is on my to-do list... but I don't have a real computer yet.  I will be trying to find a way to get those things done, or finding an alternative.  Keep in touch and make sure you join WT so we can start building the resources that will be needed.

Every day I see how desperate the world is becoming for the Christian populations and I wish I was already farther into my plans for WT.  I wonder how much I will be able to accomplish.  I wonder why GOD hasn't provided the funds needed.  I think about all the ministries and churches and schools and groups that will increasingly need financial help, volunteers, and other resources... and I think about the limits each of us has in providing them.

May this be the year that GOD opens up the fountains of provision and helps us to gather together to support each other through the increasing persecutions the Bible tells us are coming.

Have to go...
In Christ,
Deborah Martin
