Mondays are always mixed up! :-)

 

This is another ad I tried at the same NW Christian newspaper.  I don't recall how long I ran it, but it was probably a December effort.

December is the annual Membership month.  I chose that on purpose.  Memberships run yearly, January through December.  This makes it easier to work out the finances for Member benefits.  

This is still the plan.

This ad was for the 2022 year.  That means it probably ran through December 2021.

I am still thinking about a way to allow Memberships again... throughout the year.  The TRIAL MEMBERSHIP was my previous option. 

You can see it was Digital Only, with limited updates (quarterly).  I think I started it off at $10 but had to raise it as costs kept rising.  

I decided this year was too dangerous for any memberships because of the economy and my poverty.  :-)  I struggle to get through every month, I can't afford a global event.  This is why I am trying to raise funds first.

Working Together is not like a regular ministry.  It has different needs.  GOD has to provide the ability to establish it, the finances, the start to this major effort.

I put new links up at the website to see if GOD would provide.

I have problems with all my electronics, but I figure GOD is big enough to deal with the problems I face.  I just keep waiting for GOD to do whatever needs to be done, and I try to keep getting prepared for the time He finally starts moving WT into the places it needs to be.

I am still looking for the Christian GOD wants to take over the operations of Working Together.  I know He will bring them into view when the time gets here to hand over the responsibility to care for as many Christians as we can until the Antichrist decides to kill us.

It is hard to watch America and the rest of the world change so much, even if it is linked to God's prophecies.  

I guess that will be enough for this post.  Please pray for me and for WT and for all of the Christians in our world.  Pray we become ONE BODY IN CHRIST, and that we find a way through what is left of our freedoms and faith.  Pray we gather in every community and begin to protect each other.  Pray we will be blessed by GOD and use our resources wisely.  Amen.

How are you doing tonight?!
I always hope everyone is doing well.

It has been a long day for me... I am still reorganizing my living and crafting space... I bought two new shelves with my Christmas money so I put the last one of those up today.  I am now trying to get my "stuff" organized in the shelves.  I have also decided to reduce my books as much as possible... so I am trying to decide what is essential to keep, and what can find a new home.

It is hard.  With the problems the internet brings to our information supplies, having my own book collection is really important.  I hope to get this all figured out this week.

I finally ate my jicama bulb... I think it was more dried out than I would have liked.  I made "fries" with it, and saved some ends to slice thin for eating raw.  Next time I will make the fried earlier... soon after I buy the next jicama bulb instead of waiting so long and trying to figure out what to do with it.  They were OK... I ate them with ketchup.  I read something recently about how to cook veggies so they turn out right, so I tried their advice.  They said 400 degree oven... It worked OK at that temp, but next time I am going to try 375 degrees for an hour.  I did 30 minutes, then decided to turn the fries, and then tried 20 more minutes.  They were burning by then, so I took them out of the oven and ate them.  They were almost soft inside and crispy on the outside.  And that huge jicama kept me full for hours and hours.  I was so surprised.  Even so, small or medium will be enough for the next time...

In case you forgot, my resolution for this year is to eat less fried foods... and try to substitute more fresh whole foods, lots of fruits and veggies.  When you are concentrating on changes, it is hard to find a good normal.  I hope to have a good food flow by next month.  :-)   I found a wonderful used cookbook at the thrift store the last time I was looking, and I have been finding some really great recipes to try.  In my reorganization efforts, I am bringing the best of my weight-loss cookbooks to my desk space so I can keep on track.  It should help.  I hope so.

I went through many old newspapers today... I try to keep the articles I want to read later, share with someone else, put in my topical files, etc.  The process of seeing what is called news is always a very hard thing for me... I see the loss of GOD in the world, the agendas that we don't always notice, and more.  Suffering is hard to read and experience... we know the pains others are going through when it is something we have had to endure.

I posted at the WT blog today... I am working on posting at all the WT blogs over the course of every week... sorting through the topics that matter to me as a Christian and a human being, trying to get my files organized for sharing more specific details.  This should be a good year for getting a flow going... I'm trying to get more current on the details I see, the thoughts I have about Christian issues, and to share the sources I find with you.

Another rainy day, with a little bit of sunshine!  It is taking time to get use to the rain, and the changes it brings.  Instead of running out for a few minutes without a coat, I think of getting a cold and grab my warmest covering.  It isn't fun to get sick.

I did take the dogs out for a bit in the afternoon, and it was beautiful out... sunshine, no rain, nice.  I didn't want to come back in, and I don't think the dogs did either.

Right now I hear heavy drops falling outside.  I am trying to decide if I want to brave the wet weather and go shopping tomorrow to get some things on my lists.

Christian radio is on right now.  It is a program with a guy talking about marriage relationship issues.  I like the way he shares his wisdom, gleaned from years of learning through his own life.  I guess it is Focus on the Family, and the speaker is Bob Crane... they just told us all that information.

Marriage is not something I can witness about.  It wasn't really a part of my life.  It would have been nice to experience, but the Bible is right, if I would have married, everything else in my life would have been different.

I finally ordered some business cards for myself associated with Working Together.  I tried Vistaprint.  I hope they turn out the way I think they will.  It isn't the final design I will have for WT, but it will do for today.  I am trying a membership drive in December, so I need something.  I'm not sure how to utilize them yet.  Once they get here, I will decide.

I moved things around in my room today, too.  Getting my computer and VHS player to a better spot, and listening to some of my Carleton Sheets tapes on buying real estate for no money down.  If I prepare for the day when GOD provides for me, then I will be able to use my money more wisely.

My art supplies got better organized in the process, too.  :-)  If I wasn't so tired, I would stay up and paint, but it will have to wait until tomorrow.

There is still some finishing work to do on all the changes from today, but it is getting better each time I make the effort to find a better way.  My lists of things to get become more specific, and my budget is helped.

Some goals get done faster than others, too. 

Maybe I should say my goals are getting done faster than they were before, but still not fast enough for me.

What can we do when our lives are not our own?  We have to trust GOD for all the details.  That is what I do... every day... for many years. 

I hope to have more to share tomorrow.  I am getting a notebook created to keep notes for my blog posts, and Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest posts.  It will all become better as time and money and supplies merge to provide for it.  Business cards, online marketing, finding the right things to sell, updating my webpage and other accounts to see where I am and make it all connect... Finding peace and safety, making a place for other Christians to do the same... these are my prayers.

The Battle to Believe Is Getting Worse

I was just browsing my Facebook posts and came across one about Amy Grant releasing a new album that was evaluated as not being "Christian enough."  As I read the Washington Post (liberal, against GOD) article, there was a link about another media Christian who stated that LGBTetc morals were biblically acceptable.  Lots of words for the politically correct view, none about the right to disagree or the fact that the Bible is adamantly against the sexual choices of the LGBTetc community. 

The greater damage with all these articles is the presentation of falsehoods as truth, which is the ultimate goal of these writers and publishers.  Many people do not know what the Bible says so they can't discern what is true and what is false.  The media they depend on doesn't present the whole truth anymore, but their followers believe they do.

What will it mean to live in a world that once was free and faithful but is now violently opposed to anything having to do with GOD?  I hate to think about living in a fully controlled information environment.  Part of our greatness as a country was the ability to differ, to discuss with a level of respect, to debate concepts and ideas, without propaganda or violence or imprisonment.

When I think of the consequences caused by thought police, I remember movies like Hotel Rwanda and The Hiding Place, of Pharaoh in the days of Jewish slavery, the Jewish leaders in the time of Christ, and any dictator that may exist.  I'm not good at accepting this kind of change.  I doubt any Christian would be.

We never expect life to become so terrible, especially in America, but history has shown us that it happens, all the time, and often in cycles.  Christians understand that Bible prophecy has already described these days, but it isn't easy to watch happening, or live through.

At a personal level, I have tried to understand this global change process.  The best I can say about it is a nation has the right to their spiritual beliefs.  If I go to another country, I am not going to change my faith because they have a national faith that is not the same as mine.  I also don't expect them to change their national faith to what I believe.  Somewhere in our relationships there has to be a mutual respect, and the freedom to discover each other. 

America was created as a place to worship the GOD of the Bible freely, without fear of retribution, imprisonment, or death.  We have a right, as a nation, to be true to that Christian foundation.  It seems we have been forced to change our laws to accomodate every non-biblical faith and personal choice that exists because of media claiming there is some basis for the separation of church and state.  Our national laws can reflect our spiritual foundation, in marriage, in abortion, and in restrooms.  It is our heritage.

The issue of national faith is kind of like the national language issue.  We speak English as a nation.  If we offer help to strangers who speak other languages, it needs to be seen as an act of kindness, not a requirement.  We can be a Christian nation without sacrificing compassion toward other faiths in our global citizens.

The only problem I have with this "respect" theory is the issue of harming others.  Some religions involve their followers in activities that cause harm to other creatures, whether human or animal.  Some use the idea of religious protections as a way to engage in illegal acts.  That is not what I would consider real spiritual faith.

Some religions force children or adults into sexual activities they dont want to participate in.  That is not what I would consider a valid right of faith.  I would call that self-indulgence, letchery, abusive, rape, a crime. 

Some religions require maiming or killing animals or human beings as a sacrifice to their "god."  I would not consider these actions evidence of a valid faith claim.   They are evidence of abuse, violence, murder... and are a crime against others. 

Hazy areas do exist in faiths that depend on the GOD of the Bible for the contents of their lives, including not choosing medical interventions.  If a person with this kind faith dies of what would be natural causes in other circumstances, and this act of their faith is not coerced by anyone in a position of leadership, the result is not suicide or murder... it is the natural causes they believe in.

A person with this kind of faith trusts that GOD has the ability to intervene, the ability to heal, the ability to change the current circumstance.  If GOD does not intervene, someone with this kind of faith accepts the results as part of a larger divine plan.  Medical intervention does not guarantee life will continue.  People who have no spiritual faith and do everything they can to stay alive still die.  Basing one's inaction on how you see GOD is not the same as actively harming someone in a claimed act of "worship."

We now live in a social and governmental climate that eliminates elderly or disabled people by forced starvation and encourages others to commit suicide to avoid the costs of their medical care.  We are moving into a selective elimination morality.  Letting GOD decide your time of death is not the same as forced euthanasia or premeditated murder.  The legal rights of government to kill people who cannot stop them is not the same as trusting GOD and ending up dying.

These are the issues we are facing now.  They are related to faith in GOD, the GOD of the Bible...no other faith is attacked at this level.  The government that once protected us is now becoming our enemy.  The Bible warns that laws will be changed to suit the needs of prophecy and fulfill the Word.

The sexual choices of the LGBTetc community are not matters of faith.  They may exist, but they do not have  the approval of the GOD of the Bible.  Making them appear as if they do is evidence of premeditated deception.  There is nothing that can make these opinions acceptable to Christians, or to GOD.  These sexual choices are not genetic in nature so they don't deserve the protection of our national laws. 

In a Christian nation, we can show kindness and compassion toward those who do not believe the way our Bible teaches, but elevating this behavior to a protected status is like legalizing pedophilia, rape, abuse, or murder.  It isn't deserved, and shouldn't be necessary for any reason.

The LGBTetc community will become what they have fought against for themselves.  It seems to be the results of power without morality. 

We, as Christians, will lose this moral war eventually... we just don't know when, how long it will take, or what we can do to protect ourselves on the way down.

I hope you will consider joining Working
Together as part of this process of change in our nation and in the world.  My goal is to join us all into one place so we can begin to be the ONE Body of Christ we should already be and find answers for the growing issues we will have to face.  For as long as possible, we can help each other to survive.

I am so excited to share this... I don't know how well it will be evaluated as a Press Release, but I did my best to answer all the questions I read were important for a press release.  :-)     I tried to explain the details of  Working Together  and membership.  I hope I accomplished that task.

What is the "Body of Christ?"  According to the Bible, it is everyone who believes Jesus Christ
died for their sins.  It isn't one denomination, one church, or one spiritual group, it is  E-V-
E-R-Y-O-N-E  who has been saved by Christ... and, hopefully, millions of people.  The logo of
Working Together explains this viewpoint well ::  "One God, One Bible, One Christ, One
Salvation, One Body."

How can a global Christian community gather in one space for worship, for support, for
prayer and benevolence, for protecting each other as much as possible?  That is the challenge
Working Together is trying to overcome...and why membership is the foundation of all it
hopes to achieve.

Working Together is a business-ministry hybrid designed to meet the various survival needs
of CHRISTIANS as we encounter the increased persecutions of the End Times.  The End Times
is often a topic few Christians want to think about, but it also requires MANY YEARS OF
PREPARATION to meet just the basic needs (food, shelter, safety...) of those who will exist in
that difficult future.  Gathering together now to begin the building process in Working
